The Godhead

Latter-day Saints believe in God the Eternal Father, his Son Jesus Christ and the Holy Ghost as three separate beings, the Father and the Son with bodies of flesh and bones.

Premortal life as spirit children, mortal life as a test, a spirit world after death, and three kingdoms of glory: celestial, terrestrial and telestial.

Priesthood and temples

Worthy male members hold the Aaronic and Melchizedek priesthoods, said to be restored through angelic visitors in 1829. Temples perform endowments, sealings and baptisms for the dead.
