What Latter-day Saints believe
Four books of scripture
The Bible, the Book of Mormon, the Doctrine and Covenants and the Pearl of Great Price, together with the words of living prophets.
In the Church's words
Latter-day Saints call their four books the standard works: the King James Bible (as far as it is translated correctly), the Book of Mormon, the Doctrine and Covenants (revelations mostly to Joseph Smith) and the Pearl of Great Price (including the Book of Moses, the Book of Abraham and Joseph Smith's history). The ninth Article of Faith adds that God will yet reveal many great things.
8We believe the Bible to be the word of God as far as it is translated correctly; we also believe the Book of Mormon to be the word of God. 9We believe all that God has revealed, all that He does now reveal, and we believe that He will yet reveal many great and important things pertaining to the Kingdom of God.

What the Bible says
The Bible says God spoke in many ways through the prophets, and in these last days has spoken to us by his Son. The faith was delivered once for all. New claims must be measured by what God has already said, not the other way round.
1God, having in the past spoken to the fathers through the prophets at many times and in various ways, 2has at the end of these days spoken to us by his Son, whom he appointed heir of all things, through whom also he made the worlds.
